Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Travel best friendWonderful carry on. VERY durable. Better than anything else that you can find on the market. No need of zipper locks. Thieves use a standard Bic pen to open zippers anyway. The only upgrade it could use, is maybe compression straps on the sides, but it's already awesome the way it is now

Rated 5 out of 5 by Chris from 130L Wheelie is huge.I bought the 130L Wheelie this year to replace a Samsonite that had serviced me for 15+ years. I won't be surprised if this MR doesn't outlast the Samsonite. It's built like a tank, yet still very functional. The biggest luggage I've used in the past had a maximum of 80-90L, so this one has been quite the upgrade. It can fit so much - there's always open space somewhere because I can't find enough to pack into it.Even when it's full and pushing 40kgs+, it still handles very smoothly. It feels virtually indestructible. My criticisms will be limited to the following:-For clearly being check-in luggage, there's no option to lock the Wheelie from thieving hands. I had to purchase a separate TSA lock and lock the zipper rings together.-The size is a bit awkward if it is not fully packed. The bottom 1/3 of the Wheelie(above the shoe-pocket but below the front zipper) is made of reinforced material that doesn't bend, so essentially the shape/dimension doesn't change. However above this 1/3 it's only the canvas fabric and whatever open air inside of the luggage that makes the shape. So if you're not packed to the brim, you'll have a strange upside-down axe-shaped Wheelie. That said it's still an awesome roller and I am considering to purchase the 40L additionally, for carry-on. The look is also very sleak (when not axe-shaped).

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous from Decent but some shortfallsI was excited to see this wheeled bag coming out from MR, and this one is as unique as their backpack. However, there are also some shortfalls. Pros: Light, smooth, streamlined, easy to use. Cons: Lack of locking mechanism, single zipper, unknown "ID pocket" My expectation for a "good wheeled bag" is service life of 2~3 years, so I'm hoping this will run that long. With my recent trip it handled really well, multi-day living out of bag and multiple layovers, no problem. My only challenge was to lock and secure the contents - it was actually at hotel or in transit that I had to carry multiple zip ties and wire cable lock to secure the contents - never mind the booty pocket which has the single zip which means no way to secure it. I know this waterproof zipper thing is Dana's gadget idea and I love that, but not on the travel bag. I think MR needs to seek alternative zipper solution.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jimmy from 80LReceived a few months ago. I work on the road so I’m constantly throwing this bag in the bed of a pickup or checking it at the airport. Holding up well. Love the boot compartment at the bottom and the laundry bag on the top. One thing I would change is make the laundry bag removable so you could wash that with your dirty clothes. I wear size 8.5 shoes and can fit my hiking boots, crocs, and a pair of tennis shoes in the boot compartment. The compression straps on the removable organizer aid in bringing my memory foam pillow with me everywhere.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Dacook from Great bagI an a fan of Mystery Ranch items, so when they came out with a wheeled luggage I had to buy it. I am not disappointed. I travel quite a bit for work, and this bag just made a big tour of Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. It worked on cobble streets, airport floors and in small local hotels without elevators. The only change I would make would be to the internal compression device. With a full suitcase it is very difficult to attach the small plastic clips, I would have made the compression straps longer so we can pack with them attached then pull to compress.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Peter from Couple of missed opportunitiesThis is specific to the 40 l model.....as expected, fit and finish is top notch. I own two othe MR bags,so really hoping this would be it for me, however.....Outer zipper pocket is too small for an iPad or full size note pad. The construction itself is a bit lacking: Rivets vs hexhead screws in competitor bags. Finally, it won’t first in an overhead bin wheels-in...which means it is a pain to take out in a crowded aisle. The outer pocket size is the biggest disappointment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by tcjohnstone from Best bag I've purchased in years.MYSTIC RIVER BAG REVIEW: \So far I've used this bag on 5 trips and will take it internationally in 2 weeks. I'm a documentary filmmaker and we travel all the time. Often to undesirable places where bags get their fair share of abuse. However we also travel with clients so we need something that looks professional. This is the bag.. I've been a long time Dana user. As a professional backcountry guide I've used their backpacks for 1000's of miles. They are incredible. I knew the quality but didn't know if this would translate to a roller. Bottom line: The roller is bomber. This thing will last for a really long time. Zippers, stitching, design, it's all very intentional. The pockets have been thought out very well and I actually used all of them on my last trip. Roller's are smooth, handle is strong and doesn't pitch your fingers. It just works and doesn't feel flimsy like several other bags I own. Best feature: It's expandable. You can put A LOT in this small bag. Also it's just got great design. It's not fancy but it's elegant without a lot of flash. Size: Ironically I've been able to fit this bag on almost every flight even most puddle jumpers. This I didn't expect however it gets in there. Price: I held on buying this for several months. It was a bit more expensive then other brands however I knew the old saying "you get what you pay for". So I saved up and bought it. Worth every dollar. I wish I could give you some things I don't like about the bag but so far I just can't find anything I would change. Crazy but true. Trust me you will not look back. AND the customer service with these guys is exceptional. That alone is worth it to me. P.S. Your probably wondering "who shoots photos of there luggage like this." We had time on our hands while shooting time laps in HI and the table was right next to the the bag so we dropped it in.. Just sayin...

Rated 5 out of 5 by Lance from Great bag so farSo I picked up the 130 wheeling looking for a bag that was slightly larger than my current suitcase and so far I have been very happy and think this bag will hold up for the long hall. I travel full time for work and pair this with my monster as a carry on. I have to carry bedding with me so it takes up a bunch of room in my checked bag. I am able to fit everything I need in this bag and probably over pack a bit. The boot compartment is easily big enough for my size 13 boots with room to spare. The compression panel adds a nice bit of organization and the pockets on the lid area are great as well. Even though it’s black I am easily able to differentiate my bag from others at the airport.
